PPF Legend in Dubai

LEGEND is an American paint protection film manufacturing company whose products are designed for the automotive market and guided by aerospace-level durability standards. The Prime series is increasingly the choice of UAE drivers who want high clarity, a self leveling top coat and a long manufacturer warranty. LEGEND proudly stands among the premium film brands available in Dubai, and CarEngineering is one of the certified installers that offers the full LEGEND range.

CarEngineering installs the full LEGEND range. PPF Prime Gloss is a clear high-gloss film with a total thickness of 7.8 mil (198 microns), a self-healing and hydrophobic surface, and resistance to stains and yellowing, with a limited manufacturer warranty of up to 12 years. PPF Prime Plus is a thicker version of Prime for vehicles that take a lot of stone chips and gravel impacts. PPF Prime Matte offers the same protection with a satin matte finish, suitable for turning gloss paint matte or protecting factory matte paint. PPF RAVEN Gloss and RAVEN Matte are deep black films that create a colour change combined with paint protection. The HTM Series is a tinted film for headlights, tail lights and glass roofs with up to 45% infrared heat rejection. We help customers choose the right film based on the vehicle, the paint and how they drive.

LEGEND’s paint protection film manufacturing specifications are designed to meet the most severe outside conditions, including intense UAE sun, heat, sand and gravel. The self leveling top coat means the film recovers from scratches and mar damage without polishing. The hydrophobic surface repels water and makes bird droppings, dust and road contaminants easier to remove, which improves ease of maintenance over the film’s lifespan. The up to 12-year manufacturer warranty on Prime Gloss is one of the longest available in the industry and reflects the brand’s confidence in the longevity of their product.

PPF RAVEN is LEGEND’s deep black protective film available in both gloss and matte finish. It combines the durability and self-healing properties of the Prime series with a full colour change to black, making it a perfect combination of safeguarding the original paint and transforming the vehicle’s appearance at the same time. PPF RAVEN is a popular choice for customers who want a blacked-out aesthetic without permanent paint and who want the protection benefits of a quality automotive PPF under the new colour.

Yes. LEGEND’s Prime series is designed for protection against stone chips, gravel strikes, scratches, bird droppings and UV damage. The thick urethane construction absorbs impacts that would mar or chip unprotected paint, and the self-healing top coat causes light scratches to disappear with heat from the Dubai sun. This makes it well suited to UAE conditions where highway gravel, desert sand and intense sun create some of the most demanding day-to-day conditions for automotive paint in the world.

Yes. LEGEND PPF Prime Gloss comes with a limited manufacturer warranty of up to 12 years, one of the longest in the industry. After installation at CarEngineering, customers receive a warranty on the film. A week after installation, we invite you for a free wash and check the film again to confirm everything is performing to specification.

The full installation process includes paint correction before the film goes on to ensure the surface is clean and flawless, disassembly of the required panels so every edge is finished on the hidden side of each part, hand-cutting and hand-application of the film by our certified specialists, reassembly of the vehicle and a full check of all functions before handover. A week later, we invite you back for a complimentary wash and film inspection. The film is only half of the result – the installation standard is what determines whether it performs as the manufacturer intended.

The LEGEND HTM Series is a tinted protective film designed for headlights, tail lights and glass roofs. It rejects up to 45% of infrared heat, which is a significant advantage in Dubai’s climate. It also protects the lenses and glass surfaces from chips, scratches and UV damage. CarEngineering installs the HTM Series as part of a full PPF package or as a standalone service for customers who searches for targeted protection on lights and glass only.

The price depends on the film series chosen, the coverage area, the vehicle size and the master category. Full body gloss PPF starts from 8,000 AED for a sedan and from 9,000 AED for an SUV with a PRO master. Matte and RAVEN colour change films cost more. Send your car model and preferred finish on WhatsApp and CarEngineering will recommend the right LEGEND film and provide an exact price before any work starts.

Yes. CarEngineering offers ceramic coating over the film as part of the LEGEND PPF service. The combination creates a perfect combination of physical protection from the film and the hydrophobic and UV-resistant properties of ceramic on top, making the vehicle easier to maintain and keeping the finish looking its best for longer.
